Your donation in action
FORCE is the only national nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of and improving the lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. We provide lifesaving information on the latest medical treatment and risk management, resources, and awareness.
$1,000 delivers the latest in BRCA research and information to 500 families.
$500 gives 60,000 visitors access to our website for one month.
$300 provides a scholarship to our conference to one person that could not otherwise attend.
$200 provides life-saving information to 100 people through our newsletter.
$100 provides phone-based support and resources via our Helpline for one month.
$50 provides a package of informational brochures to doctors offices and hospitals.
Donations to FORCE are tax-deductible. 100% of the funds go to the organization to continue our mission. Many companies will also match donations made by their employees.
Please ask your employer if your company has a matching gifts policy.

donations are an easy way to divide an annual donation into 12 smaller,
more affordable, ones. You can make a recurring donation by clicking

Due to the geneorsity of some FORCE members, we currently have three named funds set up to help raise dollars for education, support and awareness. If you are interested in making a donation to any of our named funds, please select the fund name from the drop down on the donation form.

The Brenda L. Caplan Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Brenda L. Caplan Memorial Scholarship Fund was endowed by Brenda’s husband, Myron, in conjunction with the Butterfly Project created by Brenda’s granddaughter, Molly.
The Downey Sisters' Fund for BRCA Mutation Awareness and Education has been established by Phebe and Frederick Downey, to honor their daughters Ann Downey Little, Margaret Downey Hardy, Katherine Downey Berges, and Martha Downey Lemp.
The Linda Pedraza Scholarship Fund
The Linda Pedraza Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Linda Pedraza, a member of the FORCE Board of Directors and a staunch patient advocate for people with hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Donations to the fund are tax-deductible and will go to provide financial support to people who cannot afford to attend our national conference.
The Jan Finer Memorial FundThe Jan Finer Memorial Fund was established in memory of Jan Finer, a volunteer coordinator for our Tampa Bay Outreach Network. Jan believed that information about cancer genetics can be empowering and life-saving and she worked tirelessly to raise awareness about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Donations to the fund are tax-deductible will go towards providing lifesaving education and outreach focused on hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Consecutive Year Club
Are you a member of the Consecutive Year Club Yet? The Consecutive Year Club (CYC) is a new donor program that was introduced at the 2009 FORCE conference.
Benefits include:
- A pin signifying the years of giving consecutively to the club.
- Participation in a telephone conference call facilitated by Sue Friedman on a specific topic.
- Your name will be listed on the FORCE website on a special recognition page.
- Recognition at the annual conference.
You can pay by credit card, check or set up monthly payments.

Tribute Donations
Please visit our tribute page to set up a lasting tribute to a person or cause. Donation cards are also available in our online store should you wish to receive a special card that you can send to your loved one.
In-kind Donations
FORCE accepts in-kind donations of products and services.
For products, we are particularly interested in items and experiences over $250 for our annual auction and with small consumer goods products (mints, lipsticks,etc.) for conference sampling.
For services, we are interested in legal, bookkeeping and programming services.

Corporations, Health Care Providers and Organizations
Sponsored programs give your corporation, practice or organization the opportunity to make a positive impact, support and empower high-risk families, and raise awareness of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer within your company and with your customers and partners.
